چکیده

Grass carp reovirus genotype Ⅱ (GCRV Ⅱ) causes a variety of fish hemorrhagic disease, which seriously affects the sustainable development grass aquaculture in China. Rare minnow (Gobiocypris rarus) is an ideal model to study pathogenesis GCRV Ⅱ. To investigate involved molecular responses against infection, we performed comparative transcriptomic analysis spleen and liver rare injected with virulent strain DY197 attenuated QJ205. Results showed that induced more differently expressed genes (DEGs) than QJ205 strain, tissue-specific were induced. In spleen, strains different DEGs; infection activated steroid synthesis pathway membrane formation; however, innate immunity apoptosis related pathways while suppressing cell proliferation migration are important for damage tissue repair, as well hemorrhage pathways. liver, similar both but suppressed metabolism-related pathways; especially protein digestion absorption-related pathway. conclude, alterations caused severe suppression hemorrhage-related spleen. Our findings will contribute better understanding interactions between host II.

Identification and characterization of expressed sequence tags from the liver of rare minnow (Gobiocypris rarus).

Rare minnow (Gobiocypris rarus) is a newly developed aquatic test organism that has been widely used in a range of studies of toxicological risk assessment by virtue of its higher sensitivity to xenobiotics. To describe extensively the transcripts expressed in the livers of adult rare minnow, we generated 6919 high-quality expressed sequence tags (ESTs) from a non-normalized cDNA library. After...

Developmental Toxicity of Carbon Quantum Dots to the Embryos/Larvae of Rare Minnow (Gobiocypris rarus)

The toxic effects of CDs on rare minnow (Gobiocypris rarus) embryos at different developmental stages were investigated. The results showed that rare minnow embryos had decreased spontaneous movements, body length, increased heart rate, pericardial edema, yolk sac edema, tail/spinal curvature, various morphological malformations, and decreased hatching rate. Biochemical analysis showed the CDs ...

Bid-deficient fish delay grass carp reovirus (GCRV) replication and attenuate GCRV-triggered apoptosis

Bid, BH3-interacting domain death agonist, is a pro-apoptotic BH3-only member of Bcl-2 family, playing an important role in apoptosis. In the study, Bid genes from grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus) and rare minnow (Gobiocypris rarus), named CiBid and GrBid, were cloned and analyzed. Bid was constitutively expressed in all examined tissues of grass carp, but the expression level varied in di...

Transcriptomics Sequencing Provides Insights into Understanding the Mechanism of Grass Carp Reovirus Infection

Grass carp is an important aquaculture fish species in China that is affected by severe diseases, especially haemorrhagic disease caused by grass carp reovirus (GCRV). However, the mechanisms of GCRV invasion and infection remain to be elucidated. In the present study, Ctenopharyngodon idellus kidney (CIK) cells were infected with GCRV, harvested at 0, 8, 24, and 72 h post infection, respective...

The Stepwise Behavioral Responses: Behavioral Adjustment of the Chinese Rare Minnow (Gobiocypris rarus) in the Exposure of Carbamate Pesticides

In order to illustrate the behavioral regulation in environmental stress, the behavioral responses of the Chinese rare minnow (Gobiocypris rarus) to arprocarb, carbofuran, and oxamyl were analyzed with an online monitoring system. The Self-Organizing Map (SOM) was used to define the patterns of the behavioral data obtained from treatments at concentrations of 0.1 toxic unit (TU), 1 TU, 2 TU, 5 ...
